Who doesn't look good in tight leather? So when you've got four fit

Gold Coast Skateboarders offering you a piece of their leathers

it's kinda hard to refuse!!!

at least that's what these guys are hoping.

Jeremy Rodgers, Kevin O'Hara, Kurt Nischel and Steve Daddow are heading to Europe to compete for Australia at the European world cup series in July in a sport known as Downhill Skateboarding.

We're talking reaching speeds of up to 110km an hour on mountainous roads with incredible scenery whizzing by. And Gold Coasters can take the dangerous ride with them by buying a patch to place on their leathers. To raise the required funds to send the lads to Europe and fly the Aussie flag, they are holding a patch drive - selling patches to local companies.

"The company patch will be placed on our leathers in support of the organisation that has donated the money and gain international exposure for the business," says Kevin. They hope the business community will get behind their dream, which is already well under way after the guys placed extremely well in the first World Cup event at Bathurst's Mt Panorama in March.

The media have been quick to respond to the Athletes prospects receiving various airplay on national TV

shows like Stateline, Fuel TV channel 7 News, interviews on JJJ, Fox Sports and various national News Paper coverage.

The boys have been competing professionally for around five years and are currently trainning hard locally on the steep roads of Elanora, Mudgeeraba, Mt Cootha and Pacific Pines.
