Bio: I have been skateboarding for about 10 years and longboarding for 6. I really got into street skating when I was 14 and went hard for years. I was always playing rugby, lacrosse and American Football and tended to get injured on a regular basis. By the time I gave up organized sports my knees were trash and my skating suffered, but I had to skate so I bought a longboard. I started carving and bombing with local buddies, White Rock is full of super steep hills and going fast was only natural. I moved to North Vancouver with my buddy Stu-Manchu in 2001 and we started Bombing hills with Bricin Lions (coastlongboarding) and Tom Edstrand (Landyachtz), that’s when I began to focus my life around speedboarding.  We started attending races and organizing our own longboarding events and races. Since then I have entered over 15 professionally organized races and over 25 outlaw races. I’ve traveled to Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Sweden, across Canada and down much of the west coast of the U.S., all to bomb hills and race. I couldn’t think of a better way to see the world and meet the locals who love to skate.
